Emily Brewood, Women's Competitive Sweep Coach
Emily rowed in high school in Virginia, then moved to Seattle where she rowed at the University of Washington for four years. After graduation, she coached at UW as a graduate assistant. Her next coaching position was at Marietta College in Ohio.  Emily took her current position at Station L in 2008.

Peter Edwards
, Men's Competitive Sweep Coach, Adaptive Rowing Coach, Program Director
After learning to row at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Peter coached at LC from 1988-1994. He has coached at Station L since 1991, working with scullers, sweep rowers, and national team candidates. As program director, he coordinates club equipment use and directs our Learn to Row class program.  

Catherine Humblet
, Head Sculling Coach
Catherine rowed at Brown University in the late 1990's. She was on the 2000 and 2001 US National Teams in the lightweight pair and lightweight double. This is Catherine's 4th year coaching at Station L, working with scullers of all levels.

Kevin Mulvaney
, Recreational Sweep and Sculling Coach
Kevin first learned to row in high school. From 1997-2000 he was the Novice Men's coach at Sacramento State University. He also coached Masters and Juniors rowers out of the CSU-Sac. boathouse. At Station L, he taught Learn to Row classes before taking the recreational sweep coach position in 2009.

Learn to Row

Station L Rowing Club is Portland's premier club for learning to row. We offer courses beginning in April through September. Courses are 5 weeks long and are open to all ages and skill levels.
