Covered Bridge Regatta results

Printer-friendly version

The first regatta of the year is in the books, with some great racing and nice weather.  The Covered Bridge Regatta on scenic Dexter Lake outside of Eugene is hosted by our friends the Oregon Association of Rowers.

Station L won 1st places with Arthur Glasfeld and Evan Halprin in the Men's 2x, and Catherine Humblet in Women's 1x.

With significant handicaps applied to many races, the final results don't look much like what we saw on the water.  The actual races included some great deck to deck racing, with post-handicap results often quite different.

Other top finishes included 2nd places in the men's 4+, 3rd places in the women's 8+, men's 8+, women's 4+ and mixed 8+.  Full results here

The next regatta for Station L is the Opening Day regatta in Seattle, where our women's 8+ has been invited to compete.
