Just a few items and reminders for our members and Learn to Row class participants. . . .
- Our women’s crew had their 8+ entry accepted for the Head of the Charles, October 17 in Boston. We will have an official send off for them the week of the race.
- Mark Saturday October 10 on your calendar. At 7am we will attempt to launch EVERY boat in the boathouse for a race around Ross Island. We hope to take a photo from the Tilikum Bridge of the entire club on the water. This will be followed by a potluck brunch at 9am. The event also serves to celebrate the end of our last class session for 2015.
- COACH NEEDED. Reed College is looking for a learn to row coach for the next five weeks on T and TH from 530-730pm. Most of our coaching staff is otherwise engaged right now. The Reed students are fun to work with and they learn quickly. Contact coach Kevin Mulvaney for more information. We know there are some members who could do this! (getting paid is nice too)
