Station L rowers are attending 2 different regattas this weekend.
The Head of the Dog & the Row for the Cure.
The Head of the Dog takes place on Saturday, Sept 26th, in the Multnomah Channel. Racing starts at 9:30am, but boats will be on the water starting at 8:30am. We have 15 entries, including singles, doubles and quads. This will be the first sculling race for some. And it is a costume race.
The Row for the Cure takes place on Sunday, Sept 27th and is hosted at the Station L boathouse and is a lot of fun. We have 8 entries with multiple Mens, Womens and Mixed boats. Some novices racing their first races ever. The race was founded by Kathy Frederick a Station L member. If you are racing, the link for fees is online. Consider volunteering, there are things you can do whether you are racing or not.
