With the big regional championship regatta behind us, it’s time to look ahead to the rest of the summer.
Racing:
The next racing opportunity is at Green Lake in Seattle on August 1. This is a fun, informal regatta–great for new rowers (including current or recent Level 2 rowers) or for anyone who wants one more sprint race before summer ends. (USRowing membership not required for this race). For most rowers, this can be turned into a long day trip. If you would like to participate, you must sign up by July 2 at our regatta sign up page. Your coaches will be in touch in a week or two with lineups.
For scullers, there is a race around Ross Island that same weekend, sponsored by Sound Rowers. It’s open water racing style, with a mass start. Sign up on the same regatta sign up page.

Misc:
Our first Friday 7am row was able to take an 8+ out, so we have critical mass!
4th of July weekend schedule–there are no changes to club programs for the holiday weekend excepting no 9am-11am Level 2 class on Saturday.
