The Station L sculling program is set up for year-round training. Station L competes at major regattas through the year, including Cascadia Masters (in Vancouver, BC), NW Master Regionals regatta, Covered Bridge Regatta, Portland Fall Classic, Head of the Lake in Seattle and more. Many scullers also attend Head of the Charles to compete against some of the best.

The program is designed to support rowers across all skill levels, whether they are just learning to row or have decades of rowing experience. As such, it is divided into three groups: Nationally Competitive (NC) group, Regionally Competitive (RC) group, and Development (DV) group. Rowers work with our coaching staff to identify which group best fits their current level of rowing and their interest in competition.

Nationally Competitive (NC) Group

  • Good technical ability, fitness, coachability, and regular attendance are essential. Some seasonal attendance requirements may be set as part of selection for limited entry regattas.
